Constitution of Governing Council

As per the TVET Act 2024, The governing council  consists of:

  1. A chairperson who shall be appointed by the President of the republic of Kenya.
  2. The Principal Secretary, the State Department for TVET or designated representative.
  3. The Principal Secretary responsible for finance or designated representative;
  4. The CEO Council of Governors or designated representative
  5.  A representative nominated by the Kenya Engineering Technology Registration Board;
  6. One principal representing TVET institutions
  7. Three independent members appointed by the Cabinet Secretary in
    any of the following areas:
    (i) leadership and management;
    (ii) financial management;
    (iii) technology;
    (iv) industry;
    (v) engineering;
    (vi) information communication technology; or
    (vii) law;
  8.  the Chief Executive Officer of the School
