The Kenya School of TVET (KSTVET) has witnessed tremendous expansion since its inception in 1978. This is in terms of academic programmes, staffing and physical facilities.

We take pride in nurturing a supportive learning environment that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and practical skills. Our programs are meticulously designed to equip students with the competencies necessary to excel as technical trainers both regionally and globally.

  • Designing and developing curriculum,
  • Assessing and awarding certificates, and offering recognition of prior learning with program transition flexibility.
  • Conducting professional development and capacity building for trainers and management personnel.
  • Collaborating with local and international universities offering master’s and doctoral programs in technical education.
  • Conducting research in education, training, and the professional development of trainers.
  • Initiating technological innovations supporting economic, social, cultural, scientific, and technological disciplines.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to fulfill its technical education and training.
  • Provision of advisory services to the Cabinet Secretary and county governments on matters concerning the education, training, and professional development of trainers.
