BACKGROUND
The department started way back in 1979 at the start of the college by the Canadian government. The department plays a critical role in enhancing sound financial management for the success of the institution.
The department is responsible for designing and implementing sound financial management of the college scarce resources.
We have partnered with other departments in ensuring efficiency in service delivery:
- In liaison with ICT department, developed MIS for students account management and financial controls.
- Participated in performance contract and ISO quality management system and service delivery instrument which guides the institution to achieve its vision and mission.
- Have ensured recruitment of competent staff in our department to ensure efficiency and accountability.
